In this paper, we introduce the notion of weak $psi$-quasi contraction in generalized metric spaces and using this notion we obtain conditions for the existence of fixed points of a self map in $D$-complete generalized metric spaces. We deduce some corollaries from our result and provide examples in support of our main result.

Fixed points for E-asymptotic contractions and Boyd-Wong type E-contractions in uniform spaces

In this paper we discuss on the fixed points of asymptotic contractions and Boyd-Wong type contractions in uniform spaces equipped with an E-distance. A new version ofKirk's fixed point theorem is given for asymptotic contractions and Boyd-Wong type contractions is investigated in uniform spaces.

Approximating fixed points of generalized nonexpansive mappings

Generalized weakly contractive multivalued mappings and common fixed points

In this paper we introduce the concept of generalized weakly contractiveness for a pair of multivalued mappings in a metric space. We then prove the existence of a common fixed point for such mappings in a complete metric space. Our result generalizes the corresponding results for single valued mappings proved by Zhang and Song [14], as well as those proved by D. Doric [4].
